I love how I foreshadowed the moon as well, as it floats above teppilin, the place that is literally keeping it in its place.
If you havent seen Gurren Lagann, I highly recommend checking it out. It is the largest influence in my life.

Oh man, you have no idea how amazed I am! Where to start. Well how's about first the shading and lighting. Dude, those drill heads look awesome in their colored outlines, plus I can't get over their groove lines overlapping the light stripes! The simple background shape just got a whole lot more interesting with the hard shading and the cracks. I also really like the subtle coloring texture over the picture of the cracked cliff face; that was a nice touch. I think the last thing that really grabs my eye is the way everything in the sky is centered around the moon, which has a pretty neat lighting ring going on.
